* To join the Park Hotel Rewards programme, you need to intend to stay more than three nights per year, to achieve 500 rewards points. Membership is also subject to your employer allowing you to acquire and redeem such rewards for personal leisure use. Points are valid for and auto-expire after 6 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Am I eligible to join the rewards programme?

If it is not you personally paying for accommodation please check with your employer as to whether you can claim the rewards.

2. Are my rewards transferable?

No, and cannot be grouped to secure a Reward. Reward vouchers can be used as you see fit.

3. I came with a group can I access the points for my stay as part of that group?

No, our group rates are highly discounted and do not qualify for Reward Points.

4. I’m a long stayer, do my repeat nights qualify?

Yes, but only if your employer has agreed to this at the time of booking.

5. I booked through a online travel agency, do I get Reward Points?

If you booked through, Expedia, Trivago, or other OTA ‘s we have deals with., or via a wholesaler, your stay will not qualify you for points as a number of those booking channels already have reward programmes which we already contribute too.

6. How do I get access to my account and see how many points I have?

Email us at with any queries you may have - like how many points you have accrued to date and when the expire.

7. When do I receive the membership card?

You'll receive a temporary card within five  working days - subject to NZ Post - and then we will mail you your customised  card later.

8. When are my points credited to my account?

Once the account is settled the information will be forwarded to our Park Rewards administrator who will credit your account the points you've earned for your accommodation stay.

9. Do all rewards have to be redeemed in advance and cannot be done at the time?

Yes except for Room Upgrades and Bottles of Wairarapa Wine - which are subject to availability.

10. Can I earn points for my past stays?

If you join before 30 November 2018 we will credit you points for any night stays you've had at Patrk Hotel since 25 August 2018. (Up to 3 months)

11. How long are the membership and points valid for? Do they expire?

Points are valid for and auto-expire after 6 months

12. What expenses are eligible for reward points?

None.your points relate solely to your accommodation spend.

13. Are packages, eg B&B, Lady's Package, Long Weekender etc, eligible for reward points?

No, as are group rates or bookings via third party websites like or

14. How and when do I receive the rewards vouchers?

You can request vouchers at anytime and these will either be mailed to you or you will be sent an e-voucher to redeem.

15. Will I be informed and automatically sent a gold card once I reach 10 nights?

Yes - we will send you a new card on achieving the gold card level.

16. Can I lend my membership card to someone else?

No, and points are non-transferable or able to be pooled.
